My buddy and I hit the surf for a pretty action packed evening of surf fishing. I’ve got to say- I haven’t fished the beach in OC a lot, I think this may have been my 3rd time, but it won’t be my last! Definitely want to do more of this!
We both used high/low rigs, 4oz pyramid sinkers. Hook sizes were 2/0, 4/0 and 8/0 for me. He used the smaller pompano rigs. Bait was frozen shrimp, blue crabs, squid, sand fleas, bloodworm fish bites and sand flea fish bites. If you want to surf fish in Ocean City, here is the rules: HERE
