My favorite to fish off the beach or cast off a pier. Attach the barrel swivel to your main line, tip the hooks with your favorite cut bait and add a pyramid sinker to the bottom and cast it out!
All my rigs are hand tied, so although they aren’t all identical, they are close and will still catch fish.
Each hook is attached by a dropper loop, which can easily be removed to remove floats. I like this method because you can work “on the fly”. Attach the floats if crabs steal your bait or you want a different presentation.
Leader is 50 pound test, hooks will rust after multiple uses (rinse with tap water to make them last longer). I prefer these hooks because if you lose the fish, or gut hook, the hooks will rust out.
These 6/0 circle hooks are perfect for bigger fish (striped bass, red & black drum, etc)
